My internet has stopped working, why does this happen and how do I fix it?

Occasionally, some routers will "lock-up" preventing them from providing you with your usual internet service. This can normally be resolved simply by switching off power to the router for a couple of minutes, disconnecting all connected devices (desktops, laptops etc) and then powering it on again.

If this still does not resolve the issue, the problem may lie with a bad ADSL session. To fix this issue, power off the router, disconnect all connected devices and leave the router off for at least 30 minutes. When you power your router back on, it should pick up a new, working session and normal service should resume.

A "bad" ADSL session can also cause internet connectivity to appear slow making websites unresponsive, try powering off the router, disconnect all connected devices and leave the router off for at least 30 minutes. When you power your router back on, it should pick up a new, working session and normal service should resume.

How Many Micro-filters do I need to install?

You will need to install individual micro-filters into every phone wall socket that you wish to use a telephone handset with. Place the phone jack into the port marked with a phone symbol and plug the DSL cable from the router into the other port. Then plug the micro-filter into the phone wall socket
